About the Song
The William Tell Overture (ウィリアム・テル序曲, Wiriamu Teru Jokyoku) is the overture (instrumental introduction) to the opera William Tell, Guillaume Tell in French, whose music was composed by Gioachino Rossini. The overture is in four parts, each following without pause. The part featured in Taiko no Tatsujin is the Finale part, which is usually used in popular media to denote galloping horses, a race, or a hero riding to the rescue. In Taikojiro, this song was made faster while the notechart was left untouched.
